HEB Almond Flour Brownies

Continuing with the HEB desert theme I tried my hand at making almond flour brownies.  Warning before hand, I do not like almond flour nor do I like almonds in my brownies but this was in the cupboard and I had the ingredients se here we are.  I've made many brownies before. You know the type, straight out of the box, just add oil and water.  So I figured that this would be an easy undertaking.  in a sense it was but the results were humbling.

The first step called for mixing the sugar and butter.  Maybe this was my first mistake.  It called for softened butter and me being the impatient person that I am just took to the microwave for a quick 15 second spin.  So it was only slightly softened and semi melted. Good enough for me!

Next was mixing in the egg, vanilla, and almond milk in a separate bowl.  That was pretty easy for me.

Another easy step! Mixing the star of the show, almond flour, in addition to the baking powder, salt, and coco powder.  Last mixed step until we put them all together.
Alright here we go! Annnd...MIX
I then stuck this into the oven per the instructions listed and went about my day.  Now here is where I think I may have done something wrong. I put this in and set it to 30 minutes but when the 20 minutes came out but somehow it was still liquidy.  I put it in for another 15 minutes. In risk of making brownie chips I stopped and just opted for fudgy HEB Almond Flour Brownie goop.  (picture not included since I am a little embarrassed)
